Flue & Ducting - The Story
2011
In 2011, from a modest unit in Broadstone Mill, Stockport, Flue & Ducting Ltd was born. Co-founder Ryan Hancock had just secured the exclusive UK rights to the first Dura Flue chimney liner manufacturing machine - a bold move that would ignite a journey of innovation, quality, and customer-first service.
Working solo in those early days, our founder Ryan manufactured flue liners by hand and supplied distributors across the UK. As the Dura Flue name gained traction for its reliability and performance, demand soared.
2012 - 2015
This rapid growth led to a move to a larger facility on Whitehill Industrial Estate, still in Stockport, where a second machine and a growing team helped meet the rising demand.
From the very beginning, our mission was simple: unrivalled customer service and exceptional product quality. That mantra didn’t just fuel our early success - it became the foundation of everything we do.
2016 - 2020
Over the past 14 years, we’ve expanded strategically across the UK, moving to another larger depot in Stockport, opening depots in the South West (Wellington) Bromsgrove (Birmingham) and Ballyclare (Northern Ireland). These locations have strengthened our logistics, enabling same-day and next-day delivery, and ensuring our customers get what they need, when they need it.
Today
From a small space in a mill to 4 fully stocked depots across the UK, Flue & Ducting has grown from a 1 man operation to a nationwide enterprise with a comprehensive product range for stove and fireplace installers. From bespoke chimneys to EcoDesign Ready stoves, we supply everything needed for a complete installation.
